This lovely little sprite has an interesting history. It completed the Perelli classic marathon rally in 1990 with a female crew. Since then it has led a quieter life and has been carefully maintained. But it still retains the same format and with a new MOT, it is ready to use on the road or in club events. The old F.I.A papers come with it and is fitted with works style hardtop, Corbean bucket seats, minilite type alloy wheels, Roll bar, quick release bonnet catches and spotlights. Recently subject to a full service, also had it’s carburettor’s and gearbox rebuilt. Finished in a traditional BMC colours of tartan red with white roof.

This is an extremely rare model being one of the few manual gearbox Daimler's made in 1967 only with the wide type MK2 chrome bumpers. The car has history from new and it has covered 61,000 genuine miles in the hands of 4 previous owners. It has recently been serviced and is running very well indeed, and it has a new MOT with no advisories. The Daimler is finished I Opalescent Golden Sand, it’s original colour with tan leather interior. The bodywork is in need of some attention, and there is rust blistering evident on the front wings and bottoms of the doors. The interior remains exceptional original
condition , and only requires renewal of the original carpets. This is a rare
quality car which would appreciate considerably with some TLC.

The fully prepared
rolling bodyshell on wire wheels, For a manual gearbox. This has had all
necessary welding and new panels fitted to a high standard. With opening panels
and doors , fitted and gapped, and painted in 2 pack primer. The engine
department, boot floor and interior have also been stripped sanded and painted.
If you have a rusty Jaguar MK2 to restore , this could save you a great deal of

Description
This 1966 Daimler V8-250 Auto saloon is being sold for restoration.
The chassis and bodywork is in very solid condition , with just some perforation at the bottom of the front wings. Unlike most projects of this model , it will not be necessary to spend vast amounts on new or repair panels. The paint is faded and crazed so will require stripping to bare metal, but the chrome is intact and should respond well to cleaning and polishing.
The engine was removed when we acquired the Daimler, but we have sourced another engine which is complete except for carbs and manifolds, and is ideal for rebuilding . This will be included in the sale.
We have the V5C, a Jaguar/ Daimler Heritage certificate, and the original green logbook. There is no other history.
